HELPLINE & Aguaro round table at the Produrable event

On 8 October, at Produrable – one of the leading events for all stakeholders and solutions promoting sustainability – Aguaro co-hosted a round table with its client HELPLINE entitled “Environmental footprint management: a catalyst for trust, innovation and performance”.

As a specialist in IT outsourcing and user support operating across nine countries, HELPLINE has spent several years building an ambitious CSR policy that goes beyond regulatory requirements, promoting sustainable and inclusive IT while addressing climate emergencies and growing customer expectations around sustainability.

This commitment is based on four pillars aligned with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the UN and adopted by its Member States* :

  1. Responsible Employer

  2. Actor for a sustainable environment - with SBTi* certified objectives -

  3. Responsible Partner

  4. Civic-minded actor

HELPLINE has identified three key priorities to better manage and secure its environmental objectives:

  • Automating the Bilan Carbone® carbon footprint assessment to focus on improving data quality and collection, and subsequently optimizing low-carbon transition plans

  • Increasing data granularity and being able to segment the environmental footprint by country, site, etc., all the way to customer delivery, to co-build tailored improvement plans with clients

  • Providing, directly during the pre-sales phase, a projected carbon footprint of the service to be delivered (travel, equipment used, etc.), along with the innovative solutions proposed by HELPLINE — giving clients a clear ‘environmental ROI’.

All while ensuring the engagement of the various teams involved.

Watch the replay below to see how HELPLINE addressed these challenges by leveraging Aguaro’s ServiceNow-native expertise and its ability to support change within complex organisations.

This round table discussion was moderated by Aurélie Gracia-Victoria, Head of New Markets at Aguaro & co-founder of the consulting firm IJO, with the active participation of Emeline El-Baze, Quality, CSR & Radioprotection Manager, Anne-Gaëlle Lebecque, Quality & CSR Consultant, and Nicolas Houel Devienne, Head of Innovation. Also available on YouTube.

* Targets adopted in 2015 covering the full range of development challenges in all countries: climate, biodiversity, energy, water, poverty, gender equality, economic prosperity, etc.
** or Science Based Targets initiative: these targets ensure that greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction strategies are in line with scientific recommendations to limit global warming to 1.5°C or 2°C, according to the Paris Agreement.
