How France Télévisions integrates environmental and consumption data at the heart of its IT
France Télévisions relies on a network of infrastructure spread across 24 geographical areas, including Île-de-France and the 9 overseas territories.
As the organisation modernised its information systems and built its ServiceNow CMDB - now more than 80% complete - it aimed to establish a structured approach to make the environmental impact of its infrastructures visible and support its wider CSR ambitions.

Challenge
Before deploying Aguaro, France Télévisions lacked a unified view of its infrastructures and had no tool to measure environmental impact or consolidate technical and consumption data.
Several internal attempts had been made to better understand and optimise energy use, but none provided reliable, continuous or repeatable measurement.
The organisation needed a common framework to align IT, CSR, procurement and operations around shared indicators and long-term reduction objectives.
Solution
France Télévisions selected Aguaro as a natural extension of its ServiceNow rollout and CMDB buildout.
The native ServiceNow application was deployed in under four months and now aggregates technical and consumption data from physical and virtual servers, network equipment, security devices, and - soon - broadcast technologies integrated into the CMDB.
All data feeds into a central internal CSR tool, enabling automated collection, reliable measurement and the simulation of reduction scenarios.
